This oil painting cardboard, titled "Vineyards in the mountains", the composition is rich in color and texture, conveying the beauty of a sunlit landscape where nature and agriculture coexist harmoniously. In the foreground, rows of grapevines stretch across the land, their leaves illuminated in bright yellows and greens. The artist uses thick, impasto brushstrokes to create a sense of movement and volume, making the vines appear full and abundant. Shadows cast by the vines add depth, guiding the viewer's gaze through the structured yet organic arrangement of the vineyard. Among the vines, small figures or objects, painted with loose, impressionistic strokes, suggest human presence or farming elements, reinforcing the idea of a working landscape. There is a sense of activity, though it remains subtle and in harmony with the surrounding nature. In the middle ground, a dense thicket of trees and bushes separates the cultivated land from the untamed wilderness. The foliage is painted with deep greens, fiery oranges, and dark purples, creating a striking contrast with the lighter, sunlit vineyard. The brushwork is energetic and expressive, adding to the dynamic feel of the painting. Beyond the trees, majestic mountains rise in the background, their rugged peaks painted in cool purples, blues, and hints of golden light. The peaks appear to be kissed by the last rays of the sun, casting a warm glow that contrasts with the cooler tones of the sky. The artist employs a blend of soft and bold strokes to convey the texture of the mountains, making them feel both distant and imposing. The sky above is a blend of gentle pinks, purples, and soft grays, suggesting either the approach of evening or the early glow of morning. The atmospheric hues create a dreamlike quality, enhancing the painting’s sense of tranquility and natural beauty. Wisps of clouds gently stretch across the horizon, their forms blending seamlessly with the mountainous landscape. Overall, the painting captures the essence of a serene mountain vineyard, where the land is rich, the vines are thriving, and the towering peaks serve as a silent guardian over the fields. The use of color, texture, and expressive brushstrokes brings the scene to life, making the viewer feel as if they are standing amidst the vines, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and witnessing the beauty of nature’s cycle of growth and renewal.
