About the artist: Born on September 14, 1954, the state farm "Stepnoy" of the Kazakhstan region. Graduated from Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (1979). Teachers in the specialty: V. The artist gravitates to hyperrealism; brings together compositional ideas, seeks to reveal feelings of anxiety, beauty and complexity of modern life. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1989). He worked at the Kharkov art - production plant (1981-1990). At creative work. Participated in exhibitions: republican, all-union, foreign (since 1982). Personal exhibitions: in Kharkov (1992), Limassol, Cyprus (1996), Philadelphia (1999), Escondido (2000-2002), New York (2003). Major works: “Tin and Anvil” (1989), “Malachite World” (1991), “Provincial Museum” (1991), “Cabaret Theater” (1996), “Forum” (1997), “In the Metro” (1985) ), “Pursuit of equilibrium” (1988), “Endless history” (1991), “Movement towards the East” (2002), “The great journey of a china elephant” (2003), “Dreams of old Kharkov” (2004), “ The Melkiades Experiment ”(2005); series - “Cities of the world” (1997).
