One of the best works of Gabriel Martynovich is considered - "Lumberjacks on a Watch of the World" (1950). There is no far-fetchedness, artificiality, on the contrary, the figures of lumberjacks, bathed in the sun, brightly lit and monumental. The artist continued to work on the theme of the working man and his relationship with the outside world. The forest owners - people and equipment - were emphasized in the works of G. M. Gluck. That is why the next work, which brought the artist European and world fame, was the picturesque work "Lumberjacks" (1954). Step by step, the author approached the creation of his famous canvas, practiced many sketches and a large number of artistic sketches and attempts. In his works, the artist focused on the goodwill and friendliness of people. This kindness and openness to the world will become the leitmotif of the artist’s creativity ”(V. Mishanich“ Vidatnі Zakarpattia artists ”).
