" Personal exhibitions were held in Kharkov (1973, 1983, 1992 and 1998 (retrospective)), Kiev (1975). "Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR" since 1974. In 1991 he was awarded the title "People's Artist of Ukraine". He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR. Artworks A.M. Of Constantinople are represented in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II, the National Art Museum, the art museums of Kharkov, Ternopol and Krivoy Rog, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and beyond. Picture of the author “Native land. At Halt ”(1957), it is perceived as a historical epic, where life appears not elevated to koturna and embellished with loud exclamations, but in its harsh and difficult truth. The artist does not seek to amaze the viewer with the extraordinary situation or the exclusivity of his characters. Obviously, precisely because of this, the artistic image of the picture makes a great impression. A multifaceted crowd takes part in its creation, where each person, if you look closely, has his own biography, and the whole pictorial-plastic solution of the canvas. Unobtrusively highlighting the central group of fighters who listen to the words of an old soldier, a sequence of plans is subtly constructed that makes it possible to feel the depth of space with a very high horizon, an expressive and coloristic solution with a wide gradation of greenish, brown, gray, blue tones and sharp black and white contrasts. As a result, there is a feeling of special strength, powerful and resistant, which can withstand any test.
