Born in the village of Shcheniev, Chernyakhovsky district, Zhytomyr region. In 1943 he graduated from the Tashkent Military Aviation School and courses of higher flight training. Navigator in bomber aviation (1942-1943). He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. Graduated from the Art Studio for invalids of the Great Patriotic War (1954) in Moscow. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1975).
