About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Born on August 3, 1924, in the village of Utulik, Irkutsk Region, Russian Federation. Graduated from the Kharkov Art School (1955). Teachers in the specialty: A. Constantinople, P. Shigimaga. Painter. The author of landscapes, portraits, still lifes in a realistic style. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1983). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1971). Member of the Great Patriotic War. Has military awards. He worked as an artist at the House of Culture in the city of Lyubar (Zhytomyr region, 1947); in Zhitomir: artist of the Ukrainian musical and dramatic theater (1949-1952), workshops of the art fund (1955-1981); at the same time - chairman of the artistic council at the artistic production workshops (1973-1979). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, all-Union, foreign (since 1967). Personal exhibitions - in Zhitomir (1968), Kiev (1975).
