About the artists: Painter. Works in the genres of subject composition, portrait, still life and landscape.
The main themes of the works are plots dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, portraits of war veterans and contemporaries.
Born in the village of Shcheniev, Chernyakhovsky district, Zhytomyr region. In 1943 he graduated from the Tashkent Military Aviation School and courses of higher flight training. Navigator in bomber aviation (1942-1943). He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. Graduated from the Art Studio for invalids of the Great Patriotic War (1954) in Moscow. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1975).
Participant of exhibitions: regional exhibitions of works by artists of the Moscow region (1960-1962), regional exhibitions of works by artists-veterans of the Great Patriotic War (1965-1995), a regional exhibition of works by artists of the Moscow region, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin (1970), an exhibition of works by artists of Moscow and the Moscow region, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the defeat of the Germans near Moscow (1971), the regional anniversary exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the MOOSKh in the halls of the USSR Academy of Arts (1972), the republican art exhibition "30 years of Victory in the Second World War" (Leningrad, 1975), regional exhibition of works by artists from the Moscow region dedicated to the 60th anniversary of October (1977), the regional exhibition "Artists from the Moscow region to the village" (1987), the regional anniversary exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1985), the regional anniversary exhibition "50 years of MOOSH" (1996), group exhibitions of works by Khimki artists (1975-2000).
