The oil painting “Anticipation of spring” conveys the exciting moment before the onset of the new season. This work of art is characterized by painterly brushwork and rich textures that create a visually appealing and tactile effect. In the foreground of the painting there are bare trees with dark and light trunks; strokes of paint highlight the contours of the bark and branches, giving them volume and structure. The tree branches are intertwined and directed in different directions, which adds dynamism to the composition. The background part of the work is made in softer and lighter colors, symbolizing the soft light of the spring sun and the receding snow. The sky is filled with cloud bands of varying shades of gray that move from deep and dark to lighter and more transparent, creating a feeling of depth and spaciousness. Red accents, perhaps representing birds or bright berries, liven up the scene and introduce contrasting pops of color, emphasizing the theme of rebirth and renewal associated with spring. Such details can serve as a reminder of the life, warmth and energy that will soon fill this winter landscape. The surface of the painting is uneven, with pronounced strokes of paint, which allows the viewer to feel the tension and anticipation of the spring awakening of nature. About the artist: Ivanyuk Oksana was born in 1964 in Rivne region. The love of painting has taken over from the baby. From 1975 to 1980 she studied at the Zoryan Art School of Rivne region.
In 1985 she graduated from the Crimean Art College. M. Samokish (now has the status of a national university). Her teachers of painting were G. Kurilenko, V. Grigoriev. After graduating from the school, she began to work as a teacher of fine arts at the Piryatin School - a gymnasium of aesthetic education, which she founded with her husband in 1990.
Ivanyuk Oksana works in the landscape and still life genre. Personal exhibitions: Kyiv, Museum of Ukrainian Heritage; T. Shevchenko National Museum; the diplomatic mission of Ukraine to the USA (California) and others. She has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad.
