He worked in the creative workshop "Agitplakat Don", collaborated with the publishing houses "Soviet artist" and Rostizdat. The author of the posters, "Lenin, the Great Path Illuminated to Us" (1969), "Komsomolets! Become the builder of Atommash! ” (1978; artists V. S. Boldyrev, S. I. Zisman, D. M. Working at the Agitplakat Don Publishing House, the central themes of Vladimir Boldyrev were the angry scourging of various vices of Soviet society, as well as topical issues of world politics during the Cold War. Many of the artist's posters are dedicated to memorable dates of the country's history, the struggle for peace, and heroes of labor. Turned to an anti-religious topic; he is the author of such posters as “We do not want either the Garden of Eden or the mythical tabernacles of the saints, and we don’t need to pray to God - it all depends on us!” (1960–70s; poet D. Dolinsky).
