Acrylic painting Touch Maksym Newskulenko
Acrylic painting Touch Maksym Newskulenko
SKU:New12
The acrylic painting titled "Touch" is a striking visual study of hands in the act of reaching out to one another. The composition is centered around two hands, depicted in a dynamic interplay of gesture and color. The painting captures a moment just before contact, highlighting the anticipation of touch. One hand is painted in vibrant red tones, with highlights and shadows articulating the fingers and the palm. The skin is rendered with a realism that captures the nuances of human flesh, making the hand appear as if it's emerging from the canvas. The fingers are slightly curled, poised delicately in the air. The other hand is a stark silhouette in black, creating a bold contrast against the other hand and the background. Its fingers mirror the red hand’s gesture, but being a silhouette, it lacks the detailed rendering of its counterpart. This could represent an unknown or unseen force reaching out, adding a layer of mystery to the interaction. The background is a simple, flat blue that envelops the hands, providing a calm backdrop that makes the vivid red and stark black of the hands stand out. The use of a blue background also adds a sense of tranquility and depth, emphasizing the focal point of the hands. The fragment of red in the bottom corner complements the red hand, while the green shapes and black clothing give context to the hands, suggesting that the figures are close to each other. The simplicity of the background focuses the viewer's attention on the hands and the space between them, turning it into a visual metaphor for connection, desire, or the human need for contact. The title "Touch" encapsulates the painting's essence, highlighting the sensory and emotional significance of this simple yet profound gesture.

The heroines of the works are calm, majestic, as if goddesses in modern clothes are preoccupied with the affairs of the present and are full of thoughts about the eternal. Each of them has its own story and is imbued with the author's personal love for the female image. The artist conveys the feeling of admiration, respect and exaltation of women as the source of life.
