About the artist: The rozhenets of the Khabarovsk Territory, Vladimir Mikhailovich Ivanenko, has been living and working in Karelia for over 50 years. He is a recognized master of fine arts, he has the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Karelia and Honored Artist of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. But for some reason, there is a feeling that this artist is undervalued. For 50 years of creative activity - no more than a dozen articles in the periodical press and two catalogs of anniversary solo exhibitions. The collection of the National Library of Karelia, where Vladimir Ivanenko showed himself as a remarkable book schedule, was preserved.

In 2018, V. M. Ivanenko celebrated his jubilee birthday. In the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Karelia the exhibition “My steps on the ground” was presented, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the artist. Exhibitions - a temporary phenomenon. No matter how interesting they are, they end quickly. We offer to get acquainted with some of the works of the master.
