About the artist: Born in Tula in 1920. Graduated: “Leningrad Art Studio” 1936-1939, “Tula Art School” (1939-1941). Participated in exhibitions: in city, regional and zonal exhibitions of Soviet art, including the Moscow region since 1941, Personal exhibition in Tula (1979). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Major works: “Tula Kremlin. Autumn rain ”,“ July. Polyana "(1964)," Summer Morning. Hot Key ”(1976),“ Collection of Signatures under the Stockholm Appeal ”,“ Fourth Line. Vasilievsky Island ”,“ Tonya ”,“ Polevod MA Chernyshev ”,“ Summer Evening ”(1959),“ Our Have Come! ” (1947), The Black Sea. Beach "(1960)," Pig "(1962) and others. He worked in the industry of easel painting, a master of landscape and plot-thematic paintings. The artist's works are stored in the Art Fund of the Russian Federation, in the collections of the State Museum of Tula, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad. The works of Vagin B.I. repeatedly sold at world auctions. According to the guide Solovyov V.D. Vagin B.I. has the seventh sales rating. He lived and worked in Tula. He died in 1997.
