About the artist: Ukrainian painter, works in the genres of landscape, still life, portrait and thematic painting.
Anatoly Nikitovich Yanev was born on December 15, 1945 in the village of Mitrofanovka, Novgorodkovsky district, Kirovograd region.
In 1974 he graduated from the painting faculty of the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under T.N. Golembievskaya and V.V. Shatalin.
Since 1978 he has been taking part in city, republican and foreign art exhibitions.
Yanev A.N. - Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1988.
From 1974 to 1994 he worked in the Kirovograd art-industrial workshops of the Art Fund of Ukraine.
From 1994 to 1996, he taught at the Kirovograd State Pedagogical University. Vladimir Vynnychenko, and from 1996 to 1999 - at the Kirovograd City Art School named after Alexander Osmyorkin.
One of the leading artists of the Kirovograd region, the successor of the traditions of Ukrainian classical fine art. The works of Anatoly Nikitovich are noted for the brightness of colors and their harmonious combination. With a confident, relaxed brushstroke, he conveys the diversity of the surrounding world in all its manifestations: from the restrained palette of a gloomy winter day to the open colors of the Crimean sun.
In 2005, the artist became a laureate of the Kirovograd Regional Prize in the field of fine arts and art history named after I. A. Osmyorkina in the "National Tradition" nomination.
In 2005 and 2010, personal art exhibitions of Yanev, dedicated to the 60th and 65th anniversary of the artist's birth, were held in the Kirovograd Regional Art Museum.
In June 2013, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, Yanev A.N. awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
In October 2013, in the Kirovograd Art Memorial Museum of A.A. Osmerkin, a personal exhibition of works and a presentation of the catalog "Mysteries of Anatoly Yanov" was held ..
The artist's works are presented in museums of Kirovograd, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Poland, USA, Czech Republic, Germany.
