About the artist: Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Born on November 4, 1921 in Lebedin, Sumy region. Studied at the Kharkov Art Institute (1945-1947). In 1953 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin, Teachers by profession - S. Besedin, I. Deitz, O. Kokel, V. Meshkov, R. Franz. The beginning of creative work in 1953. He worked in the genres of landscape, portrait and thematic painting. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1955. registered with MOOSKh since 1981. organizer of the Balashikha Museum.
