About the artists: Viktor Mikhailichenko was born on June 20, 1949 in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region (Uzbekistan). He graduated from the painting department of the Tashkent Republican Art School named after P.P. Benkov in 1974 and the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after P.P. A.N. Ostrovsky, theatrical painting department, specialty - theater artist.
Laureate of the State Prize of Uzbekistan named after I. Hamza.
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1980. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993. Since 1993 he has been living in Sumy. During his work as the chief artist at the theater. Shchepkina has designed more than 60 performances.
Personal exhibitions of the artist: Fergana (1990), Sumy (1997, 1999, 2009), Kiev (2000, 2004).
Mikhailichenko Viktor Konstantinovich is called a watercolourist of all-Ukrainian scale.
The works of V.K. Mikhailichenko are in the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, the Fergana Art Museum, the Sumy Art Museum, the Museum of the History of the City of Kiev, as well as in private collections and galleries in Ukraine, Germany, England, Ireland, Israel, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Russia, Italy, France, USA , Poland, Switzerland.
