The oil painting titled "Evening Silence" is a serene depiction of a winter landscape at dusk. The canvas is alive with the warm glow of the setting sun, casting a soft pink and golden light that reflects off the clouds and touches the tops of trees and rooftops with a gentle radiance. In the foreground, traditional wooden houses with snow-laden roofs nestle into the landscape, giving a sense of cozy habitation amidst the cold. The houses, with their dark wood and red accents, appear welcoming, their windows glowing with the promise of warmth inside. The snow around the houses is painted in shades of blue and lavender, suggesting the coolness of the evening as the warmth of the day fades. Dominating the right side of the canvas is a tall, slender tree. Its bare branches reach upwards, catching the last rays of the sun in a display of fiery oranges and reds, contrasting against the cool blues and greens that make up the rest of the scene. The tree acts as a visual anchor, drawing the eye and adding a vertical dimension to the otherwise horizontal sweep of the landscape. The brushwork is loose and impressionistic, allowing the colors to blend on the canvas and giving the scene a dreamy, almost ethereal quality. The tranquility of the scene is palpable, evoking the hushed atmosphere of a winter evening when the world seems to hold its breath. The title "Evening Silence" is apt, as there is a sense of quietude and stillness, a pause in the day where life seems to stand still and nature itself is in a state of contemplation. The artist's signature is discreetly placed, ensuring that the viewer's immersion in the tranquil scene remains uninterrupted.

About the artist: I, Pereta Vyacheslav Nikolaevich, was born on March 30, 1977 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
From early childhood I spent many hours drawing, which prompted my parents to enroll me in an art school.
Over the years, my passion grew into an internal need, and I began to think about the career of an artist. The basics of art education were given to me by my father, then there were preparatory courses at the Academy and in 2002 I entered the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture at the Faculty of Painting.
I studied with great enthusiasm, took an active part in academic exhibitions and competitions, and was awarded. From the third year of study, I was enrolled in the workshop of Professor Gurin V.I. , my teachers were Golembievskaya T. and Zorko A. I defended my bachelor's degree with the painting “Spring”, which was subsequently acquired by the Museum of Modern Art.
I graduated from NAOMA in 2008 and actively engaged in creative activities. In 2011-2012. performed four historical paintings for the Ministry of Culture of Macedonia. Held a number of personal and collective exhibitions, including in Cherkasy and Simferopol art museums. In 2012 he was admitted to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
My inner world has always warmly responded to the work of impressionist artists, and among domestic masters I am fascinated by the works of K. Korovin, F. Zakharov, N. Glushchenko. A sharp and interesting compositional solution, subtle color relationships, which are decisive in creating the “mood” of a picture, are those tasks that excite me the most. My works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. I live in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
